London Colney, situated just south of St Albans, has expanded over the years to become one of the biggest villages in Britain. Despite this influx the village still manages to have a sense of community among its 4,000 households. The Parish Council works hard to maintain this spirit of local enthusiasm. It is responsible for many local amenities such as playing fields. It supports local clubs and organizations and publishes the local London Colney News magazine.
